My own career journey began as a registered nurse, where I spent 15 years delivering direct patient care at a hospital in Buffalo, NY. I then moved into medical case management, working for an independent review company and a regional grocer. This experience of caring for and advocating for people is a common thread that runs through my entire career and is something I bring to my work with clients every day.
After my time in nursing, I transitioned into human resources and spent 15 years as an HR leader. Here I did executive coaching and performance management. This shift also gave me a deep understanding of the hiring process and what employers are looking for. When the business I supported closed, I decided to venture out on my own and started my first resume-writing and career coaching business, Write-Resume-For-The-Job. In 2018, I purchased Inspire Careers.
Today, I use my diverse background to help job seekers and career changers land jobs they love faster than they could on their own. My goal is to empower my clients with the tools and strategies they need to succeed, drawing from my unique blend of experiences in nursing, HR, and business ownership. When you work with me, you’re getting someone who deeply understands the status and trends in the job market and is dedicated to helping you achieve your career goals.
